Classification:

Species:

Carbon structural steel

Brand: For example, Q235-A·F, σs=235MPa.

Grade note :Q is yield strength A quality grade (ABCD Grade 4), F boiling steel.

Features: Low price, process performance (such as weldability and cold formability) excellent.

High quality carbon structural steel

Brand: Example 45, 65Mn, 08F.

Common steel numbers and uses:

08F, low mass fraction of carbon, good plasticity, low strength, used for stamping parts such as automotive and instrument enclosures;

Carbon tool steel:

Grade: For example, T12 steel indicates Wc=1.2% carbon tool steel.

Features: eutectoid steel and eutectoid steel, high strength, hardness, good wear resistance for manufacturing a variety of low speed cutting tools.

Common steel numbers and uses:
